BioI wish I had not been born after the Age of Heroes. I would have liked to save someone from mortal peril, but I suppose it won't happen. Unless I train as a fireman, perhaps. However, I expect to become a poet. They rarely save anyone from anything worse than boredom.
But literature can be a force for good, and it can change the way we view the world. It is a noble calling to be a poet. And if I cannot change the world with my words then I will, after all, become a fireman.
